Grafing bei Munchen, Munich Oct 9, 2026 (Issuewire.com) - MakeStoryboard, an online storyboarding software company, has been acquired by a U.S.-based entrepreneur. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Founded in November 2021, MakeStoryboard was built as a bootstrapped business with no external investment. The platform helps filmmakers, animators, producers, agencies, and other creative professionals create, organize, and collaborate on storyboards.
MakeStoryboard has grown organically, attracting users from countries around the world. Over time, the United States became its largest market by number of users, reflecting the platform's natural growth and reach among an international community of creative professionals.
"The U.S. has been at the heart of MakeStoryboard from the very beginning. We wanted to make sure that the next owner understood the audience we built the product for and had the knowledge and experience to continue developing the business in the U.S. market. We're very happy to see MakeStoryboard move into its next chapter with a new owner who shares that vision," said Diana Ziletska, Co-Founder of MakeStoryboard.
Following the acquisition, MakeStoryboard will continue operating under its existing brand, with ongoing product development under the new ownership.
