Owndays Philippines is turning an everyday eyewear accessory into a platform for environmental advocacy through its Cases for Change 2026 campaign that supports initiatives focused on protecting the air, land and sea.  For this year’s campaign, the Japanese eyewear brand partnered with Filipino artist Dani, known as @danijiiro on Instagram, to create three limited-edition eyeglass cases. The campaign brings together creative expression and environmental action by linking the specially designed cases to projects of Clean Air Asia, Masungi Geore­serve and Save Philippine Seas.  Clean Air Asia’s Bike-to-School Project promotes safer, cleaner and more sustainable mobility for students in Quezon City. Masungi Georeserve’s Power-a-Station Program provides solar-powered energy to ranger stations to strengthen forest protection and monitoring. Save Philippine Seas, meanwhile, will use support for its Pating Patrol workshops, which provide local communities with knowledge and tools to help protect sharks and preserve marine ecosystems.   The three organizations represent the campaign’s focus on the air people breathe, the land they live on and the seas that sustain communities.  The cases are intended to give customers a way to contribute to environmental programs through an everyday purchase. Owndays said the campaign is part of its continuing effort to use its products and partnerships to raise awareness about environmental protection.   The Cases for Change 2026 limited-edition eyeglass cases are priced at P500 when purchased separately. Customers who buy complete prescription eyewear consisting of a frame and lenses, sunglasses, or avail of the brand’s lens replacement service can purchase a case for P250.  Owndays said 100 percent of the proceeds from the limited-edition cases will be donated to its three partner organizations to support their respective environmental programs.    Owndays was founded in Japan in 1989 and entered the Philippine market in December 2015. The company currently operates 70 stores nationwide, offering prescription eyewear, sunglasses and optical services.
