Smart water filters offer options for the home

Sep 28, 2026

As more households pay attention to the water they drink, Viomi Philippines has introduced three smart water filters with different features for everyday use. The C1 Vital Pro, K1 Mineral and K2 Mineral Pro are part of the brand’s first lineup in the country. The three models are intended for households with different preferences: purified drinking water, mineralized water or ready access to hot water. They also share connected features that let users check their systems and replace filters themselves. The C1 Vital Pro is an under-sink filter designed to take up less kitchen space. According to Viomi, it uses a seven-stage system that includes reverse osmosis and carbon composite filtration. It connects to the Viomi app, which allows users to monitor the unit. The K1 Mineral also uses seven-stage filtration, reverse osmosis and carbon composite filtration. It adds a mineralization step that Viomi says puts calcium, strontium, magnesium, potassium, sodium and metasilicic acid into the filtered water. This model is aimed at households that prefer mineralized drinking water. The K2 Mineral Pro combines filtration and mineralization with hot water dispensing and temperature control. That feature may be useful for households that regularly prepare tea, coffee or other hot drinks, as well as for tasks in the kitchen that call for hot water. Viomi describes the water it produces as alkaline mineral water. Across the lineup, the company lists a smart faucet with real-time information, app connectivity, system monitoring and filters that owners can replace themselves. These features give households another way to keep track of their water filter’s operation and maintenance. The company has not provided local performance test results, filter replacement intervals or prices in the material released with the launch. The introduction comes as families consider both their drinking water needs and the practicalities of fitting a filter into their homes. Available under-sink space, access to an electrical outlet, preferred water temperature and the ongoing cost of replacement filters are among the considerations when choosing a system. Mary Cruz, founder and CEO of ZK Summit Holdings Inc., Viomi Global’s exclusive Philippine partner, said the company wants households to think about the water that reaches their homes and the reliability of its source. Viomi is presenting the three models as options for families seeking a filter that fits their kitchen and daily routine.
